Day 1

Day 1 — Wheels Down, Sequins On

2:00 PM

Arrival at WeHo Villa

Everyone lands and meets at the house. Pool is open, cold drinks are stocked, and the energy is immediate. Drop bags, change into pool clothes, and settle in.

Assign someone to do a quick house tour and point out the rooftop deck — that's where the pre-game magic happens.

3:00 PM

Pool & Hot Tub Time

First 2 hours are pure downtime. Float, hydrate, and let the travel fatigue wash off. This is where inside jokes start forming.

Have a speaker playing the trip playlist — set the vibe early.

5:00 PM

Drag Brunch at Fiesta Cantina

Bottomless mimosas, live drag performances, and the energy that sets the tone for the whole trip. Reese is the main character here — the queens will celebrate her. WeHo institution, pure celebration.

Arrive by 5:15 PM to secure the best table. Tip the performers — they make the night.

7:00 PM

Return to House & Get Ready

Back to the villa for showers, outfit changes, and pre-game energy. This is where the sequins come out and the hype playlist gets loud.

Lay out matching robes or tanks with the trip name — photo moment before you leave.

9:00 PM

Bar Crawl: The Abbey → The Standard Rooftop → Dirty Laundry

Start at The Abbey (WeHo's iconic LGBTQ+ gathering place with drag performances and outdoor patios), move to The Standard Rooftop (DTLA skyline views, fashionable crowd), finish at Dirty Laundry (subterranean speakeasy under a vintage clothing store for a breath from the scene). Party bus picks up at the house at 8:45 PM, drops at The Abbey first.

The Abbey gets rowdy after 11 PM — hit it first when energy is fresh. Dirty Laundry has a small capacity, so go last when the group is ready to wind down.

Day 2

Day 2 — Reese's Main Event

10:30 AM

Recovery Breakfast at House

Stock the kitchen the night before with pastries, fruit, eggs, and strong coffee. Everyone eats at their own pace — no rush, no schedule.

Have electrolyte packets and Advil visible on the kitchen counter. Hydration is everything.

12:00 PM

Downtime & Pool Float

2.5 hours of pure downtime. Pool floats, sunscreen, cold drinks, and the playlist. This is where the crew bonds and the inside jokes deepen.

Take photos of Reese on the float — these are the keepers.

2:30 PM

Malibu Beach Boudoir Shoot

Drive to Malibu (30 min from the house). Professional sunset photography on a private beach stretch with champagne toast included. Reese gets the full treatment — this is the culture moment that becomes the keepsake.

Bring a light cover-up and the matching robes for group photos after Reese's solo shots.

6:00 PM

Return to House & Dinner Prep

Back to the villa by 6 PM. Showers, outfit changes, and the energy shifts to celebration mode. This is the night — sequins required.

Have a champagne toast at the house before heading out. Set the tone for the big night.

8:00 PM

Dinner at Gjelina (Venice Beach)

California seasonal wood-fired small plates and natural wine on a candlelit patio. The long group dinner here is unhurried and beautiful — this is the culture moment before the party moment.

Reserve the large table 2+ weeks ahead. Order family-style so everyone shares.

10:00 PM

Club Bottle Service at Avalon Hollywood

Party bus picks up at Gjelina at 9:45 PM. Avalon Hollywood is the storied nightclub with multiple rooms, touring DJs, and a dancefloor running until 4 AM. VIP table with bottle service (champagne + mixers, $400 minimum for the group). Reese is the main character — the crew celebrates her all night.

Arrive by 10:15 PM when the energy is building but not yet peak. Tip the bottle service attendant — they keep the drinks flowing.

Day 3

Day 3 — Brunch & Goodbye

11:00 AM

Recovery Brunch at République (Hancock Park)

Beloved century-old building reimagined as one of LA's best brunch destinations. The pastries alone justify the reservation — this is the soft landing after the big night.

Book the reservation for 11 AM to avoid the 10 AM rush. Order the croissants and the natural wine.

1:00 PM

Departure

Ubers to LAX for afternoon/evening flights. Everyone leaves with photos, inside jokes, and the memory of Reese's last disco.

Pre-book airport rides the night before so no one has to coordinate on a hangover.

The Bars

Avalon Hollywood

Pack This

  • Sequins — a top, a dress, or a jacket. This is a last-disco trip.
  • Matching robes or tanks with the trip name (print before you go)
  • Sunscreen (SPF 50) — August in LA is brutal
  • Comfortable walking shoes for the mural tour and Venice Beach
  • A nice dinner outfit for Gjelina (candlelit patio, dress up a bit)
  • Swimsuit and cover-up for the pool and boudoir shoot
  • Electrolyte packets and Advil (recovery essentials)
  • A camera or phone with good battery for the boudoir shoot and bar crawl
  • Sunglasses and a hat for daytime activities

Pro Tips

  • Book Catch LA and Gjelina 2+ weeks ahead — both are popular and August is peak season. Mention it's a bachelorette party when you call.
  • The Abbey gets rowdy after 11 PM — hit it first on the bar crawl when the energy is fresh and the queens are performing.
  • Reese's boudoir shoot is the keepsake moment — have someone designated to take behind-the-scenes photos of the whole crew on the beach.
  • August in LA is hot (85–95°F) — sunscreen is non-negotiable. The house pool is your best friend for midday recovery.
  • Party bus for the big night (Day 2) is worth every penny — nobody drives, everyone arrives together, and the energy stays high.
  • Matching robes or tanks with the trip name are the photo moment before you leave the house — print them the week before.
  • Dirty Laundry has a small capacity — go last on the bar crawl when the group is ready to wind down, not peak energy.
  • The Standard Rooftop closes at midnight — hit it second on the bar crawl, not last.
