2:00 PM

Arrive at East Austin Group Home

Check in, drop bags, settle into the house. Pool is open — grab a float if the weather's nice. March in Austin is 70–75°F and perfect.

Tip: Assign someone to grab ice, mixers, and snacks from the nearest HEB on the way to the house.

3:00 PM

Downtime / Pool & Chill

Float, chat, get ready for the evening. This is where inside jokes start forming — no agenda, just crew time.

Tip: Charge phones, hydrate, and start the trip playlist.

5:00 PM

Dance Class at Austin Dance Academy

Group salsa or hip-hop class near downtown. Brooke gets to move to live music instruction — perfect warm-up for the weekend. Class is 60 minutes, then walk to dinner.

Tip: Wear comfortable clothes and sneakers. The studio is 15 min from the house via rideshare.

6:30 PM

Dinner at Franklin Barbecue (lunch-style early dinner)

Austin's most famous BBQ spot — go at 6:30 PM to skip the line, order the full tray, and eat family-style at the house or a nearby park. Budget-friendly, iconic, and feeds the whole crew.

Tip: Order ahead if possible, or arrive 30 min early. Bring napkins.

8:00 PM

Pregame at the House

Back at the rental, get ready, do hair and makeup, play music loud. Brooke gets the full pre-night ritual with the crew.

Tip: Designate a speaker for the playlist — keep the energy high.

10:00 PM

Rainey Street Bar Crawl (Dive Bar Edition)

Hit Garage (Rainey Street converted garage with craft cocktails and a lively patio) → Banger's Sausage House & Beer Garden (200+ beers, outdoor stage with live music, picnic tables) → Half Step (intimate Rainey Street craft cocktail bar). Three bars, all within walking distance, all with character. Brooke gets live music at Banger's.

Tip: Start at Garage, move to Banger's for the live music, end at Half Step for a quieter nightcap. Uber back to the house around 1:00 AM.

1:00 PM

Pro Tips

  • Brooke is a concert girl — prioritize venues with live music (Banger's, Antone's, Rain on 4th). She'll remember the live sets more than the bars.

  • The Highball karaoke room is the centerpiece of Day 2 — pre-load Brooke's favorite songs and assign someone to film her best moments.
  • Rainey Street is walkable and close to the house — you can bar crawl on foot and Uber back around 1:00 AM.
  • Assign a treasurer to track group expenses (Venmo) — activities, dinners, and nightlife add up fast.

Group Logistics

Transport: Rideshare (Uber/Lyft) for all moves. Surge pricing on Rainey Street and 6th Street after 11 PM Friday–Saturday. Budget $35/person for the weekend (5–6 rides). No party bus needed for this group size — rideshare is cheaper and more flexible.

Nightlife Strategy: Night 1 (Day 1): Rainey Street bar crawl — start at Garage (craft cocktails, chill vibe) → Banger's (live music, outdoor stage, picnic tables) → Half Step (intimate nightcap). Three bars, all within walking distance, all with character. No cover charges. Budget $25–30/person for drinks. Night 2 (Day 2): The Highball karaoke room is the centerpiece — book a room for 2 hours, full bar service delivered to the door. Budget $35/person for the room + drinks. Optional late-night extension to Rain on 4th or Antone's if the crew wants to keep going.
