Glen Ivy Hot Springs — Red Clay Ritual & Mission Inn Nights, CA

Destination: Corona & Riverside, CaliforniaNights: 2Group: 412Season: January, February, March, April, May, October, November, DecemberEstimated: $1,800–$2,800 per person

Morning descent into Glen Ivy's signature red clay pools—the ritual of it, the ochre mud warming against skin, the silence of a private buyout. Afternoon float in the naturally heated saline pools while a local herbalist leads a sound bath among the lavender gardens; lunch at the on-site Canyon Kitchen, citrus-cured fish and heirloom greens. Two nights at the Mission Inn & Spa in Riverside, a 1876 Spanish Renaissance castle where you'll sleep in rooms with hand-painted ceilings and wake to spa treatments in the thermal suites. The drive back to LA feels like returning from another century.

Questions

Can we really buy out Glen Ivy for the day?
Yes—group buyouts of 20+ are available weekdays and select weekends. Call ahead to reserve the red clay pools and private cabanas; the experience includes access to all thermal circuits and garden areas.
What's the drive from LA?
Corona is 45 minutes east of downtown LA; Riverside another 20 minutes. A car service or charter bus keeps everyone relaxed and mud-free on the return.
Should we bring swimsuits?
Yes—bring two. The red clay pools, saline floats, and thermal soaks will cycle through your rotation. Pack a linen cover-up and slip-on sandals for the gardens.
