Civana Wellness Resort Weekend — Carefree, AZ

Destination: Carefree, AZNights: 3Group: 410Season: October, November, December, January, February, March, AprilEstimated: $1,300–$2,200 per person

Three nights at Civana — the more accessible counterpart to Miraval, 30 minutes north of Scottsdale, more than 30 wellness classes a day, all included. The bride's group joins a sunrise sound-bath in the meditation labyrinth (designed on the same proportions as the Chartres Cathedral floor), a vinyasa class at the Yoga Garden (open-air, framed by saguaros), and a guided forest-bathing walk on the Black Mountain Trail. Spa afternoons at the Aji Spa — an indoor-outdoor hydrothermal circuit with a watsu pool. Saturday-night dinner at Terras — chef-driven, mostly plant-based, sourced from the on-site garden. Sunday: a final hike up the Sundial Trail with a packed Civana smoothie, a slow morning at the cold plunge before the drive back to Phoenix.

Questions

Civana vs Miraval price?
Civana is roughly 60% the per-night cost of Miraval. The food is excellent but not Miraval-tier. The classes-included structure is the same. Many groups do Civana for 3 nights as the 'wellness reset' tier of feral.
Closest airport?
Phoenix (PHX), 45 min.
Is alcohol on property?
Yes — wine + cocktails available at Cabana 23. The tone is wellness-with-a-margarita, not dry.
