Canyon Ranch Tucson Wellness Weekend — Catalina Foothills, AZ

Destination: Tucson, AZNights: 4Group: 410Season: October, November, December, January, February, March, AprilEstimated: $2,900–$4,800 per person

Four nights at the wellness original — Canyon Ranch's 150-acre Tucson campus opened in 1979, and most of the format that today's wellness retreats imitate started here. The bride's group books a Hiking Day in Saguaro National Park (a guided 6-mile loop with trail-side smoothies), a bridesmaids' Cooking Demo with the Canyon Ranch chef on plant-forward Mediterranean (the bride leaves with a recipe folder), and an integrative-medicine session for the bride if she wants the executive health-eval. Spa days build the trip — the Aquavana hydrothermal circuit, signature Mountain Massage, a sage-and-cedar foot soak. Sunday morning is a sunrise hike up Pima Canyon. Decompression at the Canyon Ranch's stargazing deck on the final night with a tea ceremony before the morning drive.

Questions

Can the bride drink wine here?
Yes — the Wellness Wine list is a curated short list of organic / biodynamic wines and zero-proof options. It's a wellness retreat, not a dry one.
How long do groups stay?
Canyon Ranch has a 3-night minimum and most groups stay 4. The schedule fills out around then — by the morning of day 4 the bride is hiking faster than day 1.
Closest airport?
Tucson (TUS), 30 min.
