The bride's group books at the Talbott Tavern, a 1779 stone coaching inn that fed and bedded Daniel Boone, Andrew Jackson, and (allegedly) Jesse James. Saturday is a chauffeured small-distillery loop — Willett, Heaven Hill, Barton 1792 — three flights, a tasting curated to the bride's palate (smoky, sweet, or rye-leaning). Lunch is on the porch at Mammy's Kitchen on Talbott's first floor. Saturday-night dinner at The Old Kentucky Home Tavern in the same building — pan-fried trout, hot brown, the bride orders the bourbon flight in a wooden flight box marked with each distillery's seal. Sunday: a Bardstown walking tour through the historic district (the bride's group walking past Stephen Foster's grave at the Federal Hill Mansion that inspired 'My Old Kentucky Home'). Decompression: a final bourbon-and-coffee at the Bardstown Bourbon Company before the drive to Louisville.
