Asheville is the synth-and-mountain-music heart of the East Coast — a Moog Music factory where Tegan & Sara, OK Go, and Trentemøller have all done live Moog Sound Lab sessions, the Orange Peel (Rolling Stone Top 5 US rock club), and the Highland Brewing Meadow with bluegrass on the outdoor stage. The bridesmaids book a Moog factory tour, an Orange Peel show on Saturday night, and Sunday at the Highland Meadow with a beer flight and live music. Day two is breakfast at Biscuit Head, lunch at Buxton Hall barbecue, and a tasting menu at Cúrate. Decompression: a final morning at the Grove Park Inn spa before the AVL flight.
