Car-free village?
Yes — Zermatt is electric-vehicle-only. Park in Täsch (5 minutes north) and take the shuttle train into town. The bridal party shouldn't rent a car.

June-September for hiking + green Matterhorn. December-March for skiing. Avoid April-May (mud season; many lifts closed).
