The bridesmaids book the May or September Vegan Retreat (Thursday–Monday — 3-day mindfulness + plant-based cooking + yoga), kayak the Big River estuary at sunrise, and dine at Ravens with the chef pulling sea palm and root vegetables from the garden. Day two is a Fern Canyon hike + a redwoods canopy walk. Decompression: a final morning yoga session and the slow drive south on Highway 1.
