Best month?
October-March for cool dry weather. Avoid June-September (rainy + hot). Day of the Dead (October 31-November 2) is wild but the town is overrun.
Belmond vs Rosewood?
Both apex. Belmond is the historic hacienda style (Spanish colonial + courtyard). Rosewood is the modern luxury with the rooftop bar. Pick by tone.
