Three nights at the Parker — Jonathan Adler's pink-lacquer Wonderland tucked behind a 13-foot orange door on Indian Canyon. Mornings on a cabana-orange lounge in the lemon grove with cucumber water and a paperback. Lunch at Norma's, the famous yellow-and-white bistro inside the lobby — caviar pizza for the bride if she's feeling it. Afternoon at the Palm Springs Yacht Club spa for the manicure-and-massage room. Saturday-night dinner at Mister Parker's, the speakeasy off the lobby with the carved fox bar. Sunday morning: a slow doubles match on the Parker's clay courts, then a final dip in the figure-eight pool before checkout. Decompression: a vintage convertible drive to the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway and a sunset martini at Melvyn's.

Questions

Best months for pool weather?
October through mid-November and March through May. The Parker pool is heated year-round but Coachella Valley summers are 110°F.
Cabana minimums?
Daily cabana rentals run $250–$600 with a food/beverage minimum. Group of 8+ should call ahead — the lemon-grove cabanas book 6 weeks out for spring.
How is this different from the Ace?
Ace is younger, looser, more pool-party. Parker is grown-up — Jonathan Adler interiors, croquet on the lawn, hammocks under the date palms.
