Mari's Old Mission Peninsula estate is built into the hillside above East Bay — a working wine cave system and a private terrace overlooking Bella Vista Vineyard. The bridesmaids book the 90-minute Building & Cave guided tour (six-wine flight, charcuterie pairing boards) and a follow-up Caveside Luxury Picnic for 14. Day two is a Lake Michigan boat afternoon, a Bowers Harbor lunch on the porch, and dinner at The Cooks' House in town. Decompression: morning at the Inn at Bay Harbor pool before the drive to Cherry Capital.

How far from Cherry Capital airport?
20 minutes by car. The peninsula has Uber but it's slow — rent a sprinter for the group.
Best season?
Late May through mid-October. Cherry blossom weekends in late May are peak charm.
