The 12-minute gondola to town is free and runs late — the bridal party can split between Mountain Village dinners and Telluride town nightcaps without a designated driver in the picture. Black Iron Kitchen does a fire-table mountain tasting menu; the Spa Madeline does a private group ritual. Day-one snowmobile to a champagne picnic at 12,000 feet (winter) or a Jud Wiebe Trail aspen-foliage hike (fall). Day-two morning alphorn and a Saint Bernard greeting at the lobby — published, not invented. Decompression at Allred's at 10,551 feet via gondola for the closing dinner. Telluride (TEX) is 10 minutes; Montrose (MTJ) is the commercial gateway.

Mountain Village is quieter, ski-in/ski-out, designed for the lodging. Telluride town has the bars + restaurants. The 12-minute gondola is free and runs to midnight in season — pick the apex Mountain Village stay and play in town at night.
Winter vs summer?
Winter for ski + hot-tub heli. Summer for hiking, mountain biking, and the festivals (Bluegrass mid-June, Film late August). Fall foliage peaks third week of September.
How does the gondola work after a late dinner?
Free, runs until midnight or 1 a.m. depending on season. The bridal party can dinner in town and walk out to the lift for the ride home.
