Dr. Frank's planted the oldest Riesling vines on the East Coast on Keuka Lake's west side in 1962 — the family is now four generations deep and the views from the tasting room run the full length of the lake. The bridesmaids book the reservation-only seated tasting for 7–14 with the Wine Educator, paired with creative small bites. Day two is a Keuka Lake pontoon afternoon out of Hammondsport, a sunset dinner at the Gables on the Lake, and a quiet morning at the Esperanza Mansion. Decompression: morning Riesling slushies at the Hammondsport farmers' market.

Reservation-only program, 7–14 guests, May–October Thursday–Sunday at 11 AM and 2:30 PM. Book through the property site.
What's the closest airport?
Elmira–Corning (ELM) is 45 minutes. Rochester (ROC) is 90 minutes for more flight options.
How does this compare to Sonoma?
Cost is half. The Riesling and Grüner Veltliner here are world-class — the wines are the reason, not the scenery (which is also beautiful).
