The bridal party books a Beach House block and walks to the water in flip-flops. Day one: a 12 Meter yacht charter (the boats that sailed the America's Cup), a sunset return into Newport Harbor, dinner at The Lawn at Castle Hill. Day two: a private mansion tour at The Breakers (Vanderbilt summer cottage), an afternoon at Easton's Beach, dinner at Aurelia (the new mansion restaurant). Day three is a quiet morning on the Cliff Walk before the drive to Boston. T.F. Green (PVD) is 30 minutes; Boston (BOS) is 90.

Is the mansion really damaged?
Yes — a February 2026 fire affected the Agassiz Mansion (9 rooms, Aurelia restaurant). Beach Houses and Cottages remain open throughout. Mansion dining reopens May 22, 2026.
12 Meter charter — what is it?
The 12 Meter class boats sailed the America's Cup in Newport from 1958-1983. Today's charter operators run them for guest sails — the bridal party can sail (winches, mainsheet) or just sit and sip on a 75-foot sailboat with a real history.
