C Lazy U has been a Colorado guest ranch since 1919 — 200 horses, 8,500 acres, and a horse matched to each rider for the entire stay. The bridesmaids ride twice daily through wildflower meadows, fly-fish on Willow Creek with an Orvis-endorsed guide, and shoot trap at the on-site range. Day three is a trail ride to the back of the ranch with a wrangler-prepared lunch at a creek-side meadow. Decompression: a final morning at the Lazy U Spa with hot-stone massages before the Denver drive (or the Granby airport pickup).
