Ferry from Point Judith?
Block Island Ferry runs hourly in summer. $14 round-trip walk-on, $90+ for vehicle (book ahead). 1-hour crossing each way. Day-trip is possible but the bridal party should stay overnight.
Mohegan Bluffs access?
Free, public. 141 stairs down to the beach (and back up). Bring water — there's no service at the bottom.
Best month?
Late June through mid-September. May has spotty restaurant hours. Avoid Memorial Day weekend (overcrowded crossings).
